Please forgive us if we offend. I am really curious as to what we could say of do that really bothers you.

I know I was once offended by a girl who professed to be Christian and she was downright mean and hateful...I really didn't like the word Christian because of her.

Mav stayed away from Church for years, not because of what they said, but of what they did.

Mav saw six days of gossiping, six days of not caring, six days of selfishness, then for an hour or two on Sunday they were wonderful.

That's why Mav stayed away from Church for years! Then Mav met some wonderful Christians who lived their faith every single day. THEY are the reason (and Mav's offspring) that Mavs heart softened to what God had to say.

Swearing and profanity turn me off regardless of whether the person professes to be a Christian or not.

Why are we focusing on negative things that may--or may not--happen??? Wouldn't it be much better for us to be encouraging Christians to be sensitive to others and to show them Christ's love in everything they say? For that matter, why the assumption that true Christians would say "worst things" that would turn people off if in fact Christ's love should be the most evident thing in their lives?

I was going to a church that everyone left untill there was
only three people left. The pastor's daughter screamed at us
to give more money. How do you expect us to keep the lights
on! If the others hadn't left they would have had more money.

When they ask me: "Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior?"

What?!!?

That's normally the time I tell them about the idea or belief that Lucifer and Jesus is actually the same bloke. And then i tell them that I base my belief purily on 'faith', why because Lucifer died for our sins, thats way!!!. This is an effective way to get rid of Jehovas witnessess btw.

One thing that leaps to mind is, "I think abortion is okay, but I'm still a good Catholic."

One such person even tried to become President of the United States two years ago.

Actually lost a friend because of this.
