HELL YEAH !!! And I am Rick James !@#$%^ When they stop, it's just because they can't willing candidates. Ok, I shouldn't even be the one to say that. I was only coming in from a realistic point of view. But, yes, men sometimes cheat and never ever EVER do it again. Many do it outta curiousity, some do it because of convenience, and some, because it's in the brain. That's all. I hear so many people saying that it's in the genes. So how do u explain a man cheating and it has not been done in the family tree, at least not at the level of the dad, and grand dad. Hasn't seen it around him, and then one day just let the rooster go in the wrong pen. The deciding factor in all the cases are, the REASON why he cheated in the first place. Back in the day, I use to run around a little, and then there was this one time when I packed it all in for one girl. And it was just me and her for almost two years, no one else, and I do mean no-one. She made me do it without even asking, she was just all the woman I needed at the time, and I gave her my all.

lol. hmm.... yes some guys do eventually grow up settle down and learn to behave (hard to believe i know but true) some just kinda stay stuck like that forever. i know alot of guys of all different ages and i have seen serial cheaters become faithful attentive partners once they have found the right woman. on the other hand i know some guys that just cant help themselves despite having a long term partner kids etc..
if this question is because you are thinking about dating a guy with a bad history... i say go for it there is the possibility it may turn out well!!
if this question is because you are with a guy that has cheated on you.... then sorry but i dont think he will change his spots, no matter how much he says "ive changed" "i love you" "ill never do it again i promise" if some 1 has cheated on you once unless they are genuinley gutted and sorry (ie.. they would do anything to get you back, and you can see they are lost with out you) they are more likely to do it again.
just my humble opinion :)

It depend son if they really love you or not, but they can't just say it, they have to mean it. When a cheating guy says "I love you" it could mean "b u l l s h i t".
They have to prove they love you and it takes a long time for that trust to come back, and the relationship may never be the same again.
In most cases, I agree that a cheater really is a cheater and deep down thats whats int hem, but once in a while you will find a guy that is genuinly willing to change, just don't put your heart and trust into him unless you are 100% sure, or it will get broken.
Good luck

I dont think they ever will. My ex brother in law cheated on his 1st wife and when that marraige fell apart he started dating my sister a few years later, I found out latter he also cheated while married to my sister, not once but twice. The 2nd time was with my now ex wife, they had been having an affair for over 6months and it was only through my sister that they were caught.

I think it's fair to say that there is a minority and majority.

If someone truly repents of their ways then they can change their way of thinking and become a new person to their old self. If they have not got the will power and strength in their personality to do this....i.e if they are of a cowardly nature it is very improbable they will ever change.

You must first see the wrong in what you're doing in order to reject it and start again. You can see this in someone, take heed but give them a chance to prove themselves to you.

If they have cheated on you they will again. The fact is they cheat because what they have is not want everything they want from a relationship both emotional and physical. However, if they have cheated on someone else but not on you it doesn't mean they will cheat on you...you could be the one for him!

Some feel that the grass is greener on the other side and keep looking but I doubt if most of them change their spots until they get too old to do anything but look.

Sure, I am certain it happens all the time. Not every man is lead around by his unit. There are still a lot of men with integrity, who realize what damage a few minutes of indescretion can cause.

Yes - My brother used to go with anything that had a pulse but he's now been married about 5 years and is a totally reformed character.
