Dont worry, youre not 'wasting this worlds oxygen'. The fact that you are concerned by what you see around you is proof that there is a lot of good within you. It wasnt your choice to be born into a family who have chosen what they have chosen. I'm in a similar situation, except im the only person in my family who doesnt do weed. You can't always tell what the future holds, I know that change can sound scary (I've just been cheated on by a girlfriend of over 4 years), that was a big change to be alone again. But the truth is that sometimes, change can be for the better. The aim of the court system is to repair society and help bring a better future for those who deserve it. If your probation officer recommends that you are given a new family who love and care for you, you shouldn't be too frightened. You will see your old family again one day, probably sooner than you think. As for self harm, that is a cry for attention, but that certainly doesnt mean I condone it, or that it should be ignored. You should be offered time with a psychologist. Here in England we would get that free, but I dont know how it works in the states, you should ask your probation officer. As for your parents calling you a waste of a person and saying you eat too much, that is TOTALLY wrong. Ask them how far they got in their life. Sometimes, people who know they are in a bad place, try to make themselves feel better by putting others below them. You can not control what they say, but you can control how you react. Dont become anorexic, it hurts every day and people look better healthier. If youre not sure of a healthy weight for your height, google it and measure yourself, youre probably fine. Finally, just relax. If anything upsets you or makes you question yourself in a bad way, just look at it from in someone elses shoes. Try to imagine what it would be like to step out of the situation and look at it from the outside. If you saw someone else who had been refused love when growing up, then offered drugs, then gone through everything you had gone through, could you understand that they may steal from the shop, or lie to their abusive parents? (neglect is abuse) Dont worry too much about everything, youre future is bright if you want it to be, but most people struggle to truly see it. The past doesnt exist, its just your memories that do, and you can control and ignore and forget anything that hurts you. Best wishes going forward from here, try to imagine what the perfect foster family will be like. The more you do, the better you will feel about it :)

you say she took them . you don't say over what period of time she took them or how many. that info is needed
you said she takes other drugs some of the drugs she takes might make her restellers and the sleeping agent helps to fix that.
your sister took them from your dad well unless your sister was stoned so much she had no idea of what SEe was doing then she would have at least thought he would figure this out and offer to help her .

Well they surely don't give you a high. It is a rather low. Maybe she wanted to commit suicide. That is the only thing that a bunch of sleeping pills could do. Then it would have to be a lot. Didn't he miss them?

Sleeping pills can be used to calm someone down after other drugs have been taken (though mixing pills can be dangerous), for suicide by overdose and for trying to get to sleep.

Instead of just blaming your little sister, maybe she's an insomniac that needs a little assistance to getting a good night of sleep.

i suggest you be really discreet and leave leaflets with regards to drug abuse. or sit down and have the converstaion with her yourself. i dnt think it would be fair to tell ur dad right now as it could totally ruin ur realtionship with her. maybe u need 2 talk 2 her privately before you decide to publicise her drug habits. show her that u want 2 try 2 understand her and u r not againts her. seems like she just needs someone to talk to and someone 2 just sit and listen 2 her without judging her from her actions.

They're excellent. I took sleeping pills and was on a sleepy cloud nine. I thought I was in an igloo. Take one yourself and you'll find out exactly why they're great.

maybe the reason she uses drugs is because she has problems and the reason she took sleeping pills is to... sleep.
and forget her problems, you must help her... think about it, if she is really happy and contented with her life she shouldn't have been doing that.

well nothing to understand.
You need to tell Dad you know where his missing sleeping pills went to - and name the culprit
sis needs help - she is having trouble dealing with life - are you going to step up and help her - or watch her waste away

you need to sit her down and talk to her, she needs help.......... if she's on all the other drugs she maybe taking them to counter act the effects that she maybe suffering from talking other drugs.
obviously not a very good situation,........ you need to make her see sense and if that means telling your parents then so be it......... don't be little her, support her, say you need help and we're all here to help you ... but you need to stop killing yourself'....
good luck
