It is a belief in knowledge, It has no idols, and worships only what is natural and beneficial to man. They believe that brain power grows with use, and brawn power wanes with age. What's so terrible about that?

It's because of the old christian idea that the jews killed jesus. Then in the middle ages when the christian church declared usuary a sin, and the only people who would lend money were the jews. This gave people an excuse to blame the jewish people for all their ills.

It has been taught for centuries that Jews are to be hated. Hitler once said to give him your kids until they were 5 and then you could have them back. Early childhood indoctrination becomes embossed on the brain.

In the Palestinian areas, like the West Bank and the Gaza strip, the top selling book is Hitler's Mein Kampf. Hatred is taught, and when when the Palestinian 12 and 13 year old girls there have babies, they propagate the hatred.

People are jealous of the material succeses and accomplishments of the Jews. Hitler wanted both their wealth in terms of money and antiques/gold, etc, but he needed a scapegoat to rally the Germans. Hence: blame the Jews for Germany's ills.

Christ was NOT killed by the Jews. It was Ponches Pilot, the Governor of Jerusalem representing the Romans, who ordered the crucifying of Christ, because he heard Christ referred to as King of the Jews. All Christ was found was preaching love, but that was seen as subversive, just like now, when peace activists protest Bush's war.

Until around 30 years ago, the Catholic Church taught that the Jews killed Christ. That is enough to cause world hatred of Jews over cloase to 2 thousand years. It was, of course, a lie, but fit the Church's business plan started long ago.

If you are a Jew, it might be comforting to know that Islam is also hated. Most of our haters can't give us a sound reason for hating us. Let them be. Their hatred is not hurting me.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. addressed this question. He stated:

". . . You declare, my friend, that you do not hate the Jews, you are merely 'anti-Zionist.' And I say, let the truth ring forth from the high mountain tops, let it echo through the valleys of God's green earth: When people criticize Zionism, they mean Jews--this is God's own truth.

"Antisemitism, the hatred of the Jewish people, has been and remains a blot on the soul of mankind. In this we are in full agreement. So know also this: anti-Zionist is inherently anti-Semitism, and ever will be so.

"Why is this? You know that Zionism is nothing less than the dream and ideal of the Jewish people returning to live in their own land. The Jewish people, the Scriptures tell us, once enjoyed a flourishing Commonwealth in the Holy Land. From this they were expelled by the Roman tyrant, the same Romans who cruelly murdered Our Lord. Driven from their homeland, their nation in ashes, forced to wander the globe, the Jewish people time and again suffered the lash of whichever tyrant happened to rule over them.

"The Negro people, my friend, know what it is to suffer the torment of tyranny under rulers not of our choosing. Our brothers in Africa have begged, pleaded, requested--DEMANDED the recognition and realization of our inborn right to live in peace under our own sovereignty in our own country.

"How easy it should be, for anyone who holds dear this inalienable right of all mankind, to understand and support the right of the Jewish People to live in their ancient Land of Israel. All men of good will exult in the fulfillment of God's promise, that his People should return in joy to rebuild their plundered land.

"This is Zionism, nothing more, nothing less.

"And what is anti-Zionist? It is the denial to the Jewish people of a fundamental right that we justly claim for the people of Africa and freely accord all other nations of the Globe. It is discrimination against Jews, my friend, because they are Jews. In short, it is antisemitism."

Arab leaders have repeatedly made clear their animosity toward Jews and Judaism.

For example, on November 23, 1937, Saudi Arabia's King Ibn Saud told British Colonel H.R.P. Dickson: "Our hatred for the Jews dates from God's condemnation of them for their persecution and rejection of Isa (Jesus) and their subsequent rejection of His chosen Prophet." He added "that for a Muslim to kill a Jew, or for him to be killed by a Jew ensures him an immediate entry into Heaven and into the august presence of God Almighty."

When Hitler introduced the Nuremberg racial laws in 1935, he received telegrams of congratulation from all corners of the Arab world. Later, during the war, one of his most ardent supporters was the Mufti of Jerusalem.

Jews were never permitted to live in Jordan. Civil Law No. 6, which governed the Jordanian-occupied West Bank, states explicitly: "Any man will be a Jordanian subject if he is not Jewish."

The Arab countries see to it that even young schoolchildren are taught to hate Jews. The Syrian Minister of Education wrote in 1968: "The hatred which we indoctrinate into the minds of our children from their birth is sacred."
