Any religion can be false, I don't go by religion, I go by my salvation & the truth I walk in, I am not one bit afraid that I am wrong, 36 plus yrs of living for god, I would think I know a little & still learning.

Nope! Because I feel the presence of the Holy spirit in me I do not doubt for one minute that it could be false! i would like to share my favorite passage with you: John 8; 12
Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
If you have faith, you have God, if you have God you will always walk in the light, and that is something that you cannot miss. God touches and changes my life to such an extend that I cannot doubt what I know to be true.
Blessings!

No... you are merely questioning the possibility that it could be false... it's the FINDING out that it's false that scares the pants off of all the priests, vicars, parsons, padres, bishops, popes etc... they will all be out of a job!

Having a relationship is different than having a religion, but I never think that this relationship isn't real because I know it is, so no I don't get scared. If you do, I'd suggest asking God why this is so.

Thinking that my religion is false is sort of like thinking that the sun doesn't rise in the east.
To me, both are equally true.

It is not religion which saves you, think of it this way, if you don't believe anything and die and my belief is true you will go to hell.
However if I have my faith all my life and it is not true, I still share the same death as anyone.
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith.

If a person loses 'faith' in their religion, then they'll probably gravitate to another belief system, so all in all, I'd say no that it's not a frightening development.
