i remember going with my uncle to wash dc from virginia to buy good deals on liquor does anybody know where in dc or is it cheaper somewhere else

MD Liquor stores are privately owned, so may get some good deals there.
DC stores tend to have good deals too
Your best bet is to get into the Military Exchange store with a buddy that is, or was in the military. Easily the cheapest and no taxes.
