My hair is in really good condition but, it has always been really thin and fly away so althought it is healthy and shiny, it looks limp and weak. I don't color it, nor use a hairdryer/straigtheners, and look after it with conditioning etc.

I already have a high-protein diet, which I've heard helps with hair conditioning, but are there any products which can help thicken and strengthen long hair, or help it grow faster?

a vitamin called Biotin which you can find in any drug store is known for supporting thick hair and hair growth. Get some mousse that says it is for extra volume....after a shower, shake the bottle, squirt quite a bit in your hand....and massage it into your roots all around the top of your head...or dip a comb into the mousse in your hand and mostly apply it to your roots but also comb it through.... then flip your head upside down and blow dry...blow drying in a circular motion around the roots helps the mousse do its job.. when your hair is still damp and not completely dry, put a teeny tiny bit more mousse on your roots and continue to dry.... helps limp hair look more full this way. Also use a shampoo that says it helps create full, volumized hair. But like I said, Biotin is a good vitamin for hair strength and growth

My hair stylist told me to eat eggs. That helps hair grow. I am not sure about thickening. But that's the only thing I really know

Hair growth is more or less hereditary. Not much can be done.Marginal improvement can be done.Best way is to prevent hair fall by having clean scalp.Never use chemical based shampoo.Use only herbal shampoo(Nyle or Dabur)Massage your scalp daily with fingures.Applying almond oil a few drops daily will promote thick hair growth.hace good sleep and lead ension free life.Vitamins containing Zinc(ZEVIT) one each in morning and night will be helpful.(Vitamin avaiable in chemists shops/medical stores OTC).Daily repeat yourself"My hair is growing thick fast" several times .Donot think about your hair always.See he difference after a month.Good Luck.
