1. why did he leave you and your children?
2. have you been intouch with him since to sort out your issues
3. You shoud never try and win someone back
I have been in this situation before and its so hard to get back on your feet again. But when you see your children you know something has to be done for their sake, so sorting out where things went wrong and coming to some kind of compromise is a start. How you do it is up to you, this is the hardest part because it means you have to face him after he hurt you and your children, make sure your children are not with you for this part they don't need complications, and make sure he is alone, make him make time, after all he turned his back on you, so demand it.
Friends and family are the best company of course you'll have their full support, surrounding yourself with good positive energies is good for you and your kids.
Moving on is hard also, but make it a priority, you and your children deserve happiness and so shall it be, bring on the good times, when he sees that you are moving he'll realise that "Hey she can live without me" and maybe then he'll turn towards you and your kids. But don't try and win him back, he'll think you're being desprite, and probably even have a bit of a laugh, maybe even play on it for while, you don't want that it will prolong the agony for your children, and cause you more energy than he should be for you.
i hope this all helps I have been there and when children are involved its important to get it sorted....

look girl you don't try to win him back this is what most guys like him are like you need to find someone how is ready to be a real man and show him how the job is to be done
Look he is only with this other girl because he is not obligated to be the real dad he can walk away when he fills
don't let him in and out of your life your kids need better and if you have any girls this is what you want to teach then that man can do this to them too

You can't make anyone do anything. You need to do the legal thing and make him pay for the upbringing of his kids. That will be a reality check for him, and might bring him back. Is he really worth it?

Do you want to? Sounds like a loser to me. Maybe you could use this time to move on with your life and be happier.
Ask yourself if you really want him back? What will happen when he is, and after a few weeks you begin to resent him for what he did?

Why would you want to? If he left you once for someone else, he will do it again....cut your losses and find someone who will be loving and faithful to you and your children. good luck
