Well, babe, you should be inspired by the events of daily life. Virtually any inspirational source can be tapped, yet hopefully not plagiarized, but executed by the results of your own creative genius and innate skills in observation and the ability to put incongruent things together for an element of surprise. The humor comes by setting up a misleading expectation, and then delivering an unexpected tangent. Usually, before the "punch line" is delivered a momentary pause (timing) is given so that the audience can quickly absorb the the "set up". Immediately following the comedian then blurts forth the punch line that surprises the audience with laughter. You go dude!

of course you can observe human behaviour...this is where the top comedians of yesterday and today got their knowledge and ....timing ..its all there for the truly observant.......good luck
