Religion is the ultimate con, it is government protected, tax free and the product they sell doesn't have to be delivered until you reach a place that doesn't exist. All religions are cults.

Religion is a set of beliefs and codes that people follow. A cult is a particular system of worship.

a cult is a religion that is said to be unorthodox or that emphasizes devotion according to prescribed ritual.Many clts follow a living human leader, and often their adherents live in groups apart from the rest of society.The standard for what is orthodox, however should be God's word the bible.
Religion is a form of worship.It includes a system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices, these may be personal; or they may be advocated by an organisation.Usually religion involves belief in God or in a number of gods; or it treats humans, objects, desires, or forces as objects of worship. Much religion is based on human study of nature; there is also revealed religion.
There is true religion and false.

BOTH ARE BAD. Religion---mankind's attempt to receive God's approval through their own actions.
Cult---a man made system that has a self appointed leader, and has laws such as ex-communication.
TRUE FAITH----is God reaching out to man, not man reaching out to God--as in religion and cults. Christ died for you regardless of whether you are a member in something or not. God says you are saved by grace, and grace means undeserved favor. It is the opposite of religion or a cult.

A cult = a system of worship directed towards popular or fashionable object among a particular group of people.
Eg. Rizalista`s
Religion = ushers you to best guided and true pathway towards salvation of your life and spirit. This will give you much information about your being and God`s being, understanding the whole story of the lifetime and God`s grand design of creating the world and everything that lives with it, especially the specially created human being whom He partake parts of His spirit to each and every one...to make it more emotionally special being created in His likeness and image + the "holy" spirit...that`s why He wants it back to Him and live with Him in eternity.
eg. Christianity

A relgion is identified by a Name, Holy places, The Prophet, Holy Book, Leader at all levels and the type of worships carried.
Cult is the section of the same religion following all the rules with different leaders. Just the followers deny the leadership.

Religion is when people come together to give due worship to the one true God, a cult pretends to do this but it is usually the worship of man that is diguised to look like honest religion.
