For a good christmas present for my girlfriend. I have been with her for 3 months and would like to get her something special, especially because I am going to be away for the whole of christmas and new year. Say a budget of about £50 - 100.

why not look up one of the following links and get something special delivered to her... some enterprising companies will do Christmas deliveries and if she got a bouquet, or a special gift that has significance to how you met, where you met, the place you met, the first song that you shared, the first discussion that brought you together (the list is endless) a gift that brings a memory, arriving at her door, when she is with her family, or alone, whichever, will be a wonderful surprise for her... as will a phone call from you... and it will show her family you care, afford her something to share with them and make her happy. She wont be feeling quite so lonely and left out as others share then.

Surprises at your door sent specially, shows you took more time and will be with her in your thoughts, better than any wrapped and left behind parcel will.... and you can leave a small gift too anyway;-)

make reservations at her favourite restaurant and make it really romantic.
Or what lots of women love is recreating your first date.
Maybe ye went for a walk and a take away or went bowling or ice scating ?
Do everything the exact same as your first date. Same music same street to walk on and if she doesn't realise what you are doing tell her that everything you are doing is the exact same thing you did on your first date.

christmas cake, a nice perfume, or a fancy jewelery would be nice.
