Be very careful with who you book with. My brother and his mates went with Sammys last year and it was terrible, over booked hotels, a nonexistent gala dinner, tour guides that don’t speak English, the list kept going on and on. Needles to say his Gallipoli tour was very badly tarnished by the whole affair.

So be warned! Generally if its cheap then it really is cheap. And my bro and his mates got a real cheap rip off. I guess you get what you pay for. But In my book some standards should never be dropped.

I wanted to take the time to write and say what a fantastic holiday I had in Turkey. I was really pleased with our Anzac tour with Sammys Travel.

I can't tell you enough how wonderful our guide and driver were. I found the Turkish explaination intevesting for ANZAC as we only learn of the all sides in our Schools. It was nice to get a true feel for both sides of the ANZAC Story. Sedat Kirkan has such an amazing knowledge of Turkey and it's history - there was no a question he was unable to answer. He always made a conscious effort to ensure that we had the best time we possibly could all throughout our holiday. Our driver Tufan Igel put in some extremley long hours and his driving was outstanding. He was always very professional and curteous. I truly hope that I am lucky enough to have guides and drivers of their calibre when I next travel. Our hotels, van, meals were great, too. Gala Dinner in Istanbul was little poor but except this all the things provided Sammys Travel were perfect.

I want to thank Sammys Travel very much again.

I haven't heard of this company. At least, they're unknown in Istanbul. Maybe they are specialised in Anzac tours, but their location is far away, where the Anzac tours take place.
So, neither positive nor negative comments!

Probably, the best way is to go to:

I have never heard of them. And this is an industry I know really well. The best company I can recommend to you is: www.tourkey.org. Ramtur, Tourkey, Tutku, DTS, Milet, Ditur and a few others are all owned by this company. I traveled with them many times and they have been excellent.
