We tend to hold others to an ABSOLUTE STANDARD, when we ourselves are not perfect. It's wrong, and that is really all there is to it. We are to take the log out of our own eye before we try to remove the splinter from our brother's eye. We have no business pointing out fault in others, when there is plenty of fault in our own lives.

Why do people judge others? Well, one reason I can think of is it seems to be a great diversionary tactic to keep from having to look at one's own issues. After all, that could be just a little too ugly to have to face. It's also a great way to get an endorphine rush from putting oneself on a pedestal exalting oneself above others.
Those are just a couple of reasons I can think of.

No one has the right to judge any one or even tell him/her u will go to heaven or hell coz the one who ONLY knows thw unknown is God...Moreover,perfection isnot there coz humans are not perfect themselves however we r trying 2 attain perfection by following our religion and sticking to the right path...in brief,no one can impose any beliefe or idea on any one,advice is the only thing which is accepted :)

It is part of the fallen human nature my friend. When you gossip, you are judging. We all do it, unfortunately.
The Lord says we must not judge others because we will be judged by the same measure. Scary thought indeed.

The Bible states "..we are not to judge our neighbours.." We are NOT the judge. Only God the Righteous Judge can judge man for his sin, etc.
Having first quoted God's Word let me say this: When some one is pointing their finger at you - always remember there are 3 other fingers on their hand pointing back at them.

people who judge others are people who don't know themselves, or either they see potential in you that they are laking and now they don't want to face reality and they want to hide behind others. in many times i always tell myself that: I'd rather be hated for what i am, than loved for who i'm not... People should know that if they don't have anything good to say about others they rather just shut up, i prefer someone who can advice me rather than judge me.

people judge others for insure reasons but judging someone can also be in a good sense to, not all judgments are bad
