I agree that shorter hair styles are better than long ones for thin hair. Maybe try a bob if you don't want it too short. Also, has your hair always been so thin? You could try shampoos like Nioxin,r Revivogen ....etc(made for thinning or thin hair)?
Now many would disagree with this suggestion because of damage reasons, but dyeing you hair can make it look fuller. (It works for me.)I personally haven't experienced any real damage when I just dyed my hair. It actually made my hair seem healthier and thicker(by swelling the hair folllicle). My hair is not as thin as yours but it is baby fine and I don't have a lot of it. Even if you don't want to change the color you can still dye it the same color. Just a suggestion though.
Well hope I helped.

i too have very thin hair and i,v tried wearing a few differant styles but the one i have now is undoubtedly the most attractive. i got what you call a piggyback perm, thats when they stack the rods in a stagger after weaving each section, its a little more spendy but if you find a good hairdresser that knows how its well worth it. also theres less wieght on the rod so not so much drag causing breakage.in 8-12 monthe just go in for a root perm so your not reperming processed hair which will cause breakage too. after the perm get some Frizzease and a little soft hold gel and blow dry with a diffuser(you can get these attachments at walmart)
set on warm. when dry turn dryer to cold, or no heat and blow for a minute then finger style and spray. trust me it changed my hair and my whole opinion about my looks. good luck!

I know this sounds girlie, but try pigtails. It works for an everyday look. if you're older or just want a more "grown up" look, try combing your hair back from the hairline. Angelina Jolie has been sporting the "comb back" hairdo, and it's all the rage among models. Also, it makes thin hair look lush and full of volume. Go for it!
