Actually I was raised Catholic. But I think the catholic church has lost it's way.I've read a little on Islam, and it has just as good of principles as any other religion, but like I said I think ALL Religious practices are bunk.I mean really....God created you,but don't you think he's got better things to worry about than one spicies of animal on one planet he created??

And I'm trying to look for people to tell me what I want to hear just to feel better about my views.Thats why their my views in the first place.I came up with them from studying and making an educated conclusion.

I'm not an Athiest, I'm Agnostic. And I won't tell you that there is no God, because I do believe there is one. It sounds like what you have is Faith, not religion. Which is good, it's something I never had.

And, as a side note, it's not a religion, it's a relationship. So it matters not that you don't follow the practices. You pray and you have faith and a walk with God, then that is all you need. Well, that and the Bible. It does have some really good things that it has to say if you dig deep.

I'm not sure if this is a formal religion, but it's a very worldly point of view right now. I think this is happening more all the time because of the leaders that are falling, and we as Christians are not living our life as well as we should, yet we say we are saved. There are many reasons for this way of thinking, and all justified, but still.....Jesus says to stay true to the faith and don't give up. This kind of thinking happens when we keep our eyes on other people instead of on God. God never disappoints or hurts, the more we get to know Him, the more we see that He is fair and just and knows all. His wisdom is so much higher than ours.
I can see how this point of view is evolving, there will be a religion name for this some day, it's scriptural too. The Scriptures say that many will fall away and go to churches that will tell them what they want to hear.

What you describe is not religion, it is faith.
Yes, God is the creator and Jesus is His prophet., but there is much more to it.
You should know the science of God realization in detail. Don't be a sentimental believer. There are many of this kind.

There's more than one definition for religion if you look the word up in a good dictionary. The dictionary definition that applies in your case:
Religion: The spiritual or emotional attitude of one who recognises the existence of superhuman power or powers.

It's utimately not really about the various religious rites, dogmas. practices, rules of worship etc. Any prophets, Moses,
Jesus. Mohammed (to name a few) , were teachers, messengers, the word "messiah" translated into english means:
messenger.

Hope this helps.

Jehovah witness, Mormon, and Muslim believe in Jesus but not in the divinity of Jesus. I would say you are searching for answers but haven't quite found where you fit in. Keep asking and you will find the answers you are looking for. God luck and Go with God. Seek and ye shall find, knock and it will be opened to you.

I would have to say you are a back slider from the Muslim faith. Muslims believe Jesus to be ONLY a prophet of God and God as the creator but if you don't follow any religious conviction then you must have been Muslim and have back slided??

Well...no clue.
You have your own little religion going on.
Like me.
I was baptized Catholic, so I'm really Catholic, and when I go to church every few years it's Catholic as well, but I'm agnostic.
So, I'm a Catholic agnostic?
That's just what I tell people on here.
But in reality I just say I'm Catholic.
I don't believe half the things either, though.
But I do really love the Bible.
It's my favorite fantasy book.

I am absolutely offended by your attack on my religion and I will immediately report you to Yahoo! and your ISP since I now have your IP address.

Don't you hate it when people get overly sensitive when you ask a neutral, inoffensive, and balanced question and then they put a slant on it that you never imagined and then they attack you?

Then don't do it to my questions such as me asking which Americans have traveled where, thanks.

And I have numerous times defended the US policy on Iraq to people around me up here in Canada. So your lazy insistence that all Canadians (and Europeans too) are against the US all the time is dead wrong. And what do you think of those British soldiers who died fighting in Iraq? Did you know Britian is in Europe? And numerous Canadians have died in Afghanistan, helping to keep your country free from terrorism, too.

If people do get annoyed with Americans, it is probably because they had the misfortune to meet one like you who thankfully, I know, is in the small minority.

You could edit your inappropriate and hateful answer to my question to include an apology if you wish.

If you believe Jesus was a prophet sent by God, then you would have to believe that what He said was of God. And He said He is God's Son. So why would you not believe him?
