Something that I am VERY proud of myself for is when I shaved all my hair off (13 inches) and gave it to an eight-year-old girl with cancer. She had lost her hair and needed a new wig. So I gave her my hair and I walked around looking like a freak so that she wouldn't have to. I've got a picture on my wall of her wearing my hair on her head and she looks so cute and happy. It's one of the most spiritually rewarding things I've done and I'll always carry it with me.

Any activity that you perform and is pleasing to God is for your eternal credit.
All that you do, all that you eat, all that you offer and give away, as well as all austerities that you may perform, should be done as an offering unto Him.
This is the all auspicious path.
P.S. Make sure you learn what are the things that are pleasing to God.
