I do not worship Ganesh because I do not practice the Hindu religion, nor am I descended by blood from the inhabitants of the coutry where that diety has power and sway. It would not be proper for one who is not of Indian descent to worship Ganesh, or any other deity from there.
I am of European blood and I follow the gods of my ancestors.
