By all means, take your grandbabies in! it will be a long road ahead if you do, and I know it will be hard on you doing it alone, but the rewards in the end for your good deed will be plentiful! Please don't let the state take the kids and adopt them out, or leave them in foster care where you won't be able to see them grow up or see them at all. Cps is a much needed agency, but there are so few social workers who really have the kids best interest in mind.

If you don't believe me, look on some of the websites like fightcps.com and A.F.R.A.I.D, where folks have been lied to and humulitated by cps. They are an evil group of people that don't desreve the thought of taking some more kids from a loving home.

If you don't tkae the kids into your home, can you or do you have other family memebers willing to take the babies in? I just hate see them wind up in foster care! Like anything else, foster care has its faults too! I would hate to see something happen to the babies since they are so little! don't give up on them!

The parents LOVE meth(brings out the worst in people) more than thier kids. You have some hard choices to make and I don't envy you. Your not alone in your position so i would think that there would be some support group or organization out there(Try Google) GOOD LUCK to you

When their not tweaking find faces of meth online and show them the before and after pictures. Then tell them to get sterilized if they won't quit meth. Tell them their kids deserve PARENTS not tweakers. Time for some tough love for those two

If you let them move in, cps will take the children away from you, too. You have to think of those babies first! I know you wanted to just be grandma, but they need you.Sometimes life doesn't work out like you wanted it to. If you don't adopt them, the state will place them in foster care and I have seen children bounced from one foster home to the next with no permanent home for 18 years and after that, they are "out of the system" and on their own. Please, do not let that happen to these babies. They deserve a loving and stable home that only you can provide. I will pray for all of you.

I would suggest you do adopt them. they are your grandchildren, and you want to be a part of thier lives, if you let the state take them, you may never see them again! I'm sorry your man left you, I wish he would have been more understanding..I'm not supporting the drug use, but it is a hard habit to kick, as one of my brothers has been a user for years..don't allow the parents to move in, not until they can truely come clean. you are what's best for those babies, and you're going to have to show some tough love to thier parents with restricted visiting hours..if they don't show up, suspend them from seeing the children. you have to be a major part of this. please don't let those babies go, they need you, you've been the one taking care of them so long, and you can give them the love they need. my aunt takes care of her grandson because of the same reason with her step-son, and she would be lost without him!!

Please do not blame your lover. Meth is so bad, that anyone who has a clear mind will avoid it at all costs. The only thing that can help them out is prison and prison treatment to beat this. Try to get the children, but you have a life, too. If the love of my life expended all her energy on trying to reason with meth heads, I would leave too. You need to make time for your life. You not only deserve it, you need it.

Join the fathers rights movement. I've protested with Fathers4Justice and kno them all.

Where are u? UK? US?

I just seen you are in the US. There is an American movement. Try: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/aum/ . I don't kno too much about what's happening with the American bros but that site's a good starting pont. And be proud of your son- 99.999999% of parents are better than the state. Ok sure, he fcuked up, but who's never done that?
