If you already are a Muslim as evidenced by your name, Khalid, then all you have to do is to say the Shahada; There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger. Then learn about the 6 pillars of faith and the 5 pillars of Islam. then practice. Slowly but surely.
If you are not yet, the process is the same.

Among the beauties of Islam is the fact that in this religion there are no intermediaries in the relationship between a person and his Lord. Entering this religion does not involve any special ceremonies or procedures that need to be done in front of any other person, nor does it require the consent of any specific people. Becoming Muslim is very easy and anyone can do it even if he is all alone in the desert or in a locked room. All it takes is to say two beautiful sentences which sum up the meaning of Islam and which include the statement that a person is the slave of his Lord and that he submits himself to Him and recognizes that He is his God and Helper and Protector Who decrees for him whatever He wills; and that Muhammad is the slave and Messenger of Allaah whom he must follow with regard to what was revealed to him from Allaah, for obeying the Messenger is part of obeying Allaah. Whoever utters these twin statements of faith, with conviction and believing in them, becomes a Muslim, sharing all the rights and duties that other Muslims have. After that he can start straight away to do the things that Allaah has made obligatory, such as the five daily prayers at the right times, fasting during the month of Ramadaan, and so on. From this it should be clear to you that you can become a Muslim straight away, so get up, have a shower and say: “Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasooluhu (I bear witness that there is no god except Allaah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger).”May Allaah help you to do all that is good and guide your steps aright. May He decree for you happiness in this world and the next. Peace be upon those who follow true guidance.

Your name is Arabic. How did you get it from? If you live in an Arabic country, it has to be a Muslim one too. Ask the people around you. This question is a serious one to be posted on this site. It will get you some Islam insulting replies. If your question is meant to get such replies, all I say is..... Peace.

Examine Yourself
[18:103] Say, "Shall I tell you who the worst losers are?

[18:104] "They are the ones whose works in this life are totally astray, but they think that they are doing good."

[18:105] Such are the ones who disbelieved in the revelations of their Lord and in meeting Him. Therefore, their works are in vain; on the Day of Resurrection, they have no weight.

[18:106] Their just requital is Hell, in return for their disbelief, and for mocking My revelations and My messengers.

[18:107] As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, they have deserved a blissful Paradise as their abode.

[18:108] Forever they abide therein; they will never want any other substitute.

The Quran: Everything We Need
[18:109] Say, "If the ocean were ink for the words of my Lord, the ocean would run out, before the words of my Lord run out, even if we double the ink supply."

[18:110] Say, "I am no more than a human like you, being inspired that your god is one god. Those who hope to meet their Lord shall work righteousness, and never worship any other god beside his Lord."

you must first begin by understanding what it means to live Islam.

this is a website that will allow you to read and research the Quran:
http://www.quranbrowser.org/search.html

and there are many good books out there that describe the basic fundamentals of Islam...

once you have learned about Islam and are sure that you believe Islam in your heart all you need to do is say your shahada (proclemation of faith)

in Arabic: La ilaha il Allah, Muhammad-ur-Rasool-Allah

In English: there is no god but God and Muhammad is his Prophet

***you can say this in your home but it is better to go to a mosque and do it formally

when i did this the imam told me all he felt i needed to know about being Muslim and gave me a prayer rug a hijab and many books to read

asalamwalaikum

ps i converted to Islam almost two years ago.... and cannot put into words what this has done for my life. Islam put my heart at peace
