To start off I would take the puppy to the vet's because there could be something unlying that could be the problem. It also could be the fact that the puppy doesn't like that kind of food and you may need to change it. If you've just given it new food, it won't be used to it and may not eat it, that's why they want you to mix the old with the new and lessen the old dog food until the puppy is used to the new food. Good luck!

Do not force feed a dog without consulting a vet. You could do more damage than good. Has it been pooping? imagine it has something like intestinal blockage or a rupture somewhere in the digestional system and you keep shoving more food down the poor creature!! If it is not eating, there is a serious reason for it and you HAVE to consult a vet. Not eating is not a disease, it is a symptom. You first have to sort out the reason why your dog denies food and then try to tempt him to eat. And again, please go to a vet.

Force feeding is silly, sorry for sounding abrubt! You have given no other details, something maybe seriously amiss. A dog never ever starves itself to death. If your dog is ill, has an infection etc. it will not eat. Forcefeeding may in fact make matters worse.
First point of call should be your vet. Secondly, in the mean time, offer only water with raw honey. Digesting food requires a lot of energy which otherwise may be better spent in the healing process of whatever maybe wrong.

Take her to the vet. If a dog is not eating, to the point that they must be 'force fed' there is something seriously wrong.
It is normal for a dog to go a day or so without eating if they do not like their food....or put a different way, if they get hungry enough they will eat it....but much beyond that you need to get the dog to a vet.

I know in the past when my dog has not eaten, the vet has told me to boil chicken breast. Shred the chicken and mix it with plain white rice. Feed them that for a couple of days and then start adding in their food. I would definately check with the vet as well, but this is what I have always done in the past and it has seemed to help.
