Dear Jors,

i think religion in itself is man's attempt to reach God. In that way i think that is what sets Christianity apart from other religions. It tells of how God came down to meet man and is not man's attempt to reach God either by good works or some moral code. i think there are many stereotypes about Christianity which are not true.

In that way one never puts their hope in a religion but in the object of that religion. And one must carefully examine the basis and the foundations of that religion.

Christianity is an invitation to have a relationship with God and i think at the end of the day that is what religion is searching for- who is God and what is His purpose for me?

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

I believe in avoiding religion. Any religion that claims to be the only way to God, is a lie.

In my opinion, I don't think God and religions are the same thing. I think they are very different to each other. To me God is the universal life force and religions always separate people. They are two different things. Take a look for all the people who are so religious.. I can't say all of them are good, but yeah we could find so-called religious people in our society act like the real sinners. While those who are not religious at all act like saints. Paradox of life.

I do believe in God,--- yes I can assure that... but I don't like and despise religions in so many way, shape and form. Religions always teach you to think inside of the box, while I always love to think outside of the box. Religions never teach you to ask questions, but rather to direct, guide and give you some stifling steps in your life.... as if you don't follow or obey them, you will die for an eternal illness or whatsoever as a punishment for your sin and mistake. Religions only for making people feel better about themselves: ''Oh... I am a loyal Muslim or oooh... I'm a good Christian.. so certainly I will go to Heaven and my next door who loves sex and orgy will go to Hell for sure...''

We all do have power to be like God in sort of speak. The power to create or to destruct for our own life. And I think what religion always tries to tell us is we have to give that power to another entity, whatsoever.... we are not allowed to be in control of our own lives. And I don't think God punishes i.e: you will die painfully with terrible disease or something.... when we did mistakes in our lives. I think we bring about our own creation or our own destructions. So it's all up to us. Not to the religions. Religions are all about rules, establishments and strict policies etc.

I think the core of all the teachings in all religions exist in this world basicly is the same: that LOVE is the most important thing. And God is love. That's it.

I believe in god. I believe that every man is on a path to god. I believe that it is sacrilege for any man to claim to have the one and only path to the 'god of all'

Many religion ushered us to same God. Religions have different prophets who bring us to God. How would you know then who is the legitimate ONE?
I think it is obvious that Jesus Christ is the true one, as it really happened in the past, though controversial, but the world was affected much to it:
- to re-date the century and start with day/year 1 with JC (B.C and A.C., i.e. before and after Jesus Christ birth.)
- JC arrived on earth as prophesied, his only mission is to modify and lived himself the covenant of God given to Moses for better understanding, establish God`s true pathway for our guidance back to our Father and saved God`s people from condemnations as everyone were all in the hands of Satan (the ruler of this world) and introduce to us our basic faith...The RESSURRECTIONS...life after death, then Jesus back to our Father.
Telling us all, there is life of the spirit (after we die) that we should keep in mind and take good care of, as it is in eternity with the Father full of peace, joy, happiness and harmony.
"I am the Truth, the Way, and the Life"..."that whoever believes in me may have life everlasting."
- JC firmly said, after I`ve gone to my Father, The Holy Spirit, God`s Spirit, The Messenger...will linger in this world until the end of time, to confirm everything I have said as that of the Father, to identify me well, to help you, guide you well back to the Father.
- to write the whole bible stories, events & happenings hundred years after Christ death with great accuracy... to different people, ages, and places...by just the guidance of the Holy Spirits...and when collated later, shows exact accounts of the life of Jesus on earth in comformity with God`s prophesy for century ages.

It is not only the events unfolding that is very important in every belief or religion...but through its guidance, you as a believer in God should PARTICIPATE in God`s salvation by noting down God`s covenants, imprinting it in our hearts, live with it (as Jesus did) and bring any of your friends with you to God by spreading love, peace, understanding, tolerance, helping one another and don`t destroy your spirit by judging other people, nor compete, destroy nor harmful to others.

Knowing all these basic belief, you may know what to do with your life.
Private or direct relationship/connection/communication to the Almighty Father is possible when you becomes God best friend.
Choose the best religion for you, if you need to be accepted by one and walk with God with them for happier companionship...just don`t get lost from religion`s human rules and regulations.

Good luck! and Be blessed with your walk with God.
