If you have fever you may have apendicitis, if the pain was on the left side it could had been constipation. You should have it check just to be safe.

You need to have a scan - just to be on the safe side. If that comes back clear and you have had pain for years and painful sex or some symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome then it could be Endometriosis. This is not serious but cannot be 100% diagnosed without key hole surgery.
