I must ask, to follow up on an answer to my last question. I need to know if this is true.

Here's the answer, which, by the way, I've noticed lately is being used as an all-purpose answer for all kinds of questions by many users of this forum:

where is God....he's the same place he is when you banned him from schools, you've banned him from public assembles, you banned him from everything except the Church and some of you are working very hard on that.....you cant have it both ways ...if you don't ask God in a place he want be there and you can see where he not been allowed to be,all the school shootings, ball games where parents fight and kill each other in front of their own kids, the home, where people or killing each other everyday....in the government and you see whats happening there.....God blessed this country long time ago and we were a super power.....were not that super any more....God's removed himself because we've ask him to leave...so don't blame God...blame yourself

LMAO!!!!!! Does anyone know if any of the children that killed other children, came form religious homes? Did any of them believe in God? The parents at the base ball game, did they believe in God? If the answer is no to all those questions than maybe the answerer has a point, otherwise it makes no sense.

Yes, there could be alot of changes for the better if people would let God back into schools, etc. So many have turned their backs on God and wonder why life is so rough. God is in my home and life is great here.

If real born again Christian leaders ran this country, you would not have government trying to pass a bill for gay marriages, you would not have presidents like Bill Clinton and affairs in the Whitehouse, etc. In fact there would be no corruption in the government, and prayer would be in schools again, because real Christians live for God and would not have it any other way

Dear i walk funny,

i think the quote above is saying that God will not work where he is not invited. In many ways God has been kicked out of the schools in the name of political correctness. That does not mean that God has totally withdrawn His concern and love because we know that He cares and loves His creation.

The purpose of allowing prayer in school has nothing to do with natural disasters. Although i think that if you lived in an area where that was a commonplace danger- i wouldn't advise against praying in schools.

i work at a winter camp with Missionary kids and we've seen God change the weather through our prayers.

But it is not to say that even if prayer was allowed in school that we would be able to get every demand we prayed for. i definitely do think though that it would help some kids to see things from God's perspective and not just their own and in many cases would result in more peaceful resolutions of conflicts.

God works in the midst of His people. The key is that God does not want to force His will upon people (He values our freedom) but he wants us to invite Him and so...

Hope that helps and makes sense. Kindly,

Nickster

Amen to that! We might not have natural disasters if God were allowed to protect this country...It is proven that He can put a hedge of protection around a person, family, and even a nation if He so desired. Why would he feel the need to protect a people who deny Him, mock Him, slander Him, and profane everything good.? The time has come when men call good evil and evil good...end of times...God cannot allow sin to continue forever...the day is coming soon when he will not let it continue..

All the prayer in the world is not going to stop a hurricane from flooding you out, or the plates of the earth from moving leading to earthquakes. Natural disasters can not be stopped, only avoided. If a volcano is going to blow, you should get far away from it. Staying by it and praying is just going to get you killed.

God belongs AWAY FROM government. Separation of church and state. Sorry... upholding the Constitution is more important than whimpering about moral decline because God isn't siphoned into every single aspect of life.

Natural disasters happen because humans have been raping Mother Earth for centuries. Doing something for the planet is much more effective than praying.

yes i quite agree with you Man has a lot to answer for
the way the world is these day, For not enough of us seek God
not enough of us Pray we just have to look at the weather the way it is, But if we would go to Gods word we could found the answers to fix most of the problems in this world, But man thinks he know better than our Creator
I just pray with all of my heart that man will wake up to himself
May God bless you
