Shampoos and conditioners that you buy in hair salons really do make a difference. It seems more expensive, but really isn't once you see how much longer it lasts, since you only have to use a tiny amount. I have switched over and can see SUCH A DIFFERENCE in my hair. Also, if you really want a boost, try taking hair vitamins as well. They will give you healthier stronger shinier hair but take at least a month to start working. Better take them for 3 months in a row to see a real difference.
Serum is a nice finishing product that makes hair shiny as well, but don't put too much of it, or your head will look like a real grease ball !
Good luck !

I had the same problem. First thing you should do is to cut your hair a bit. It's not that expencive and it's a good start. And stop dying your hair that many times. Let your hair rest for a few months. Then change your s&c. I don't know where youre from and what kinds of s&c you have but it will help to change s&c every 3 months.

shine serem works wonders. but first off lay off on the hair dying for awhile. it tends to over process the hair leaving it dull and dry like you said. then invest in some deep treatment conditioner. and use it abotu 2-3 times a week. and you might want to change your shampoo and conditioner to something that accomodates color treated hair or dry/damaged hair because those shampoos and conditioners tend to have more conditioning things in them. you might want to get a trim as well to help get rid of some of the dead hair. a nice trim always makes your hair look and feel healthier.

A diet which contains dry fruits, milk products, salads, fresh fruits and lentils are essential for good hair texture and growth.
A mixture of almond oil, olive oil and castrol oil in equal proportions acts as an excellent hair tonic.
The regular use of herbs such as henna, hibiscus flower, alovera and sesame prevents pre mature greying and provide good color for the hair.
Put pieces of fresh and young bamboo leaves in coconut oil. Keep until the oil turns to a light green color. Apply this oil for pre mature graying and obtain lustrous hair
Lecithin granules and wheat germ are some of the most wholesome food for hair.
Lime juice with mustard oil is an excellent cure for dandruff.
Onion juice when massaged on the scalp acts as a wonderful anti dandruff agent.
For lustrous and dandruff free hair apply a paste of fenugreek leaves and rinse off.
In case of sever dandruff apply a mixture of beet juice, lime and neem on the scalp. Repeat every third day till dandruff disappears.
An excellent hair pack is a mixture of olive oil, vinegar, coconut milk and chicken egg in equal proprotions. Apply this pack for 15 minutes and rinse.
Make a powder of dry lemon rinds, orange peels and Pomegranate skin. Add Coconut oil to this and apply to your hair to prevent hair loss and obtain shinning hair.
Oil your scalp near the roots of your hair regularly as this lubricates the skin. Oil penetrates through pours easily and being rich in protein content, it provides good nourishment. It increases the blood supply to the roots, which in turn helps growth. It also has a soothing effect which induces sleep, prevents hair loss, head ache and pre mature graying.
For shiny hair rinse with lime and tea decoction.
Avoid excessive shampooing. This strips off the proteins present, causing severe damage which is reflected in the form of dry, dull and brittle hair.
Do not use blow dryers and curling tools in summer, as they can aggravate the damage that is caused by high temperature and humidity already present in the atmosphere.
Avoid chemical treatments that may pressurise your hair such as perming, bleaching, colouring, tinting, etc. But if you must, ensure that you have a coconut oil hair bath, prior to the chemical treatment.
Hair Myths -Helmets do not cause loss of hair and shaving the head does not improve hair growth.
Trim hair every 6 to 8 weeks to avoid split ends.
