There is no right or wrong way to pray. When you pray you are praying to God, it wouldn't make sense if you had to do three twirls and then stand on your head to talk to God, but If thats how you felt most relaxed and you could talk to God best that way go for it. You can say your prayers, anywhere, anytime, and in anyway.
And Unfortunatly, I do not know of any churches in your area.
Good luck finding one though!

Jesus said: "Pray in this way...." then He gave us the pattern of the Lord's prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)
There are many more things said on the subject, but that's a good start. Also, James says " Let one ask in faith, without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that one expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways" (James 1:6-8)

There is no need to go to a church to pray, as you can do this at home anytime you want to. A church does provide the support of others practicing the same religion.

have you ever examine the Bible? What you're praying for your self and popularity are the two signs and indicators of going to hell! The Bible says we are to no longer prefer to be renowned or nicely time-honored. And we are meant to be those that prefer to assist others, no longer take all we are in a position to for ourselves. Mirrors are a marginally new merchandise. It use to be recognize one even knew what they gave the impact of! it rather isn't any longer what's on the exterior that makes a guy or woman; that's what we are in our interior that makes a guy or woman.

The our father is the model on "how to pray"
Matther 6:9-13 is used as a model, not meant to be repeated. "our daily bread" is whatever you need that day.
If you are in arkansas, please go to forest city one day. Right beside the Mcdonalds off the interstate there is a place called Grannys country kitchen diner. Best fried chicken I had in my life! I took pictures of it ! Email me after u go, k?
Blessings,
David

The bible clearly teaches us how to pray.. Example:.Matthew 6:9-15 ....1..Give Honor to the Father 2. Your will be done 3.give us what we need...4.forgive us ..5. as we forgive others...6.help us to resist temptations....7 Deliver us form the evil one.. then ....8 . thank God for all he has done.. Pray from the heart, that's how God wants you to come right where you are at..

Food for thought-----Prayer has two parts; petition and desire
1. Petition is what you ask for.
2. Desire is why you ask for it.
So the best thing is to consider your requests, "is what I am asking for in line with God's will and purpose." And am I asking for it with the best intentions? Also the Bible says to Pray to the Father in the name of the Son. So basically, Heavenly Father we ask these things in Christ's name, Amen. I hope I have helped.

always be thankful in your heart when you pray, not always asking for what you want or desire.
open your heart and mind to god on a personal level and invite him into you-then you are in constant prayer. whatever you say to yourself in your mind or heart, you also say to god. This frees your mind in a way and makes you a better person.
he is there anyway, so why not give personal conformation that you approve it, this could be your greatest gift to God. Then you can take pride that you give your whole self to him.
