Wow - what a bunch of cynical answers. Everyone in the religion site must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed today. I think the question is rather cute though I don't know the answer. I used to know someone who said that phrase all the time: "Things that make you go mmmmmmmmmmmm" It cracked me up. Name was A... Bra... of N...F...

Interesting question.

I was the one who mentioned "the thing about one feet below Adam's navel" not too long ago.

Well, I assume both Adam and Eve had navels. What's wrong anyway.

They were CREATED. God could easily have added a belly button in a split second to make Adam and Eve look like all future humans...regardless of whether they were born or made.

God knew that in future, everyone's got to have a navel because we are no longer made, but will have to be born of a woman. So it is highly probable that God just put in a navel so that all future humans have the same 'features' as the first set of 'parents'.

It would be quite strange for my "first parents" to have a totally smooth stomach; a bit like kinda aliens, you know .

I'm more interested to know if Adam had a brain and if he knew how to use it, did he know how to speak even, if so he would have had to invent a language with Eve, speech must have been pretty basic back then donchathink? it must have been hard to express anything complex.
Did Adam have a penis?, seeing as he he was made before Eve and had no need for sex organs, if he had a penis was it given to him after Eve was made - just stuck on as an afterthought?

Well, if you go with the concept of god as female, the mother of all, then possibly adam would have come fromt he womb and thus had a belly button. However, if as many other mythologies suggest, the first peoples were made of clay, dirt, ethereal stuffs, then no.

Even though this has been answered, I'll give my two cents. I highly doubt it, because he wasn't born. Navels are produced by umbilical cords, which is what feeds the baby inside the womb. But what do I do know? I wasn't there.

You mean navel (belly button) and probably not neither would Eve because if true they weren't conceived in the normal manner and no umbilical cord

Do you have a future?
Maybe time to start thinking about just where you are headed.
Planning on dying one of these days?
What are your plans after that?
