CHINA CAN NOT BE THE FRIEND OF INDIA AS POLITICALLY GEOGRAPHICALLY AND ECONOMICALLY.

Yes. As a matter of fact, they recently have signed further peace deals, and China's president may visit India for the first time. The last visit by a Chinese president was 10 years ago.

I think that friendship between the two is very important, since it has everything to do with the region's economic and political stablity.

Some say that India and China are the world's future. Let's hope that becomes true. By the way I am a Bangladeshi in Thailand.

I don't know about "friend" but they are trading partners and both countries have embassies in each others country. Having trading agreement with another country doesn't not mean they're "friends" though.

You find out who your friends are when things are not going so well for you. When India had problems with Pakistan, did China do anything to lend a helping hand? I don't recall any help offers so no! China and India are not friends - They're merely two countries with lucrative interests in one another.

China is India's friend as long as it serves China's purposes to be India's friend. Period.

As far as I can tell, the only true "friends" in this world are Russia/Belarus, Russia/Abkhazia, Russia/Transnistria, Britain/America, Britain/Australia, America/Australia, America/Israel, Greece/Cyprus, Turkey/Northern Cyprus, and (possibly) Venezuela/Cuba. Every other alliance has a price.

Nehru went to china with his panchsheel but China backstabbed Nehru by declaring war against India.
Indian doctors have helped them when they were in distress.

According to common man's law, both who gives and who takes a bribe are criminals. And that too from other man's pocket is a disgraceful act.

Pakistan has bribed china with a part of kashmir over which it has no right and china has acceded it to its territory. Therefore they too are not friends in the right sense.

China is very diplomatic country and always show friendship with India if there is any advantage he can take from India. We always should be beware of China and should not compromise on our benefits. China is Asteen Kaa Sanp.

Its an unfortunate truth-they are not true friends. When you look at the west they live with open boundaries and prosperity. The west supply arms to the third world and support conflicts. And we with hungry stomach make ******* sound oo, ahh to insult each other. We dont want our people to live happily. Communism and Islam are most unfortunate ideas if taken negatively. They both don't have any gratitude or love to their society..these ideas are good if preached by good people, but majority of the people in this world are sinners, sinners are often enchanting.... they can easily spread violence and win instantly. But finally they will fail.

China as a country is nobody's friend. They have always pursued a policy of intervening in international affairs only to help themselves. There track record of participation in UN is an example of this. As of now they are on diplomacy spree and arming rougue contries like north korea and pakistan with nuclear weapons, only to further their national interests, with no regard for global impacts.
to sum it, they have all give and take relationships only...

They are historically hated enemies, because China has historically backed Pakistan.
