LMAO. We had a big debate over what to do with the turkey carcASS -- no one wanted it, but it would be such a waste to throw it out for the wild critters. With chicken carcASSes, you can boil them and make some delicious broth for chicken n' dumplins, but turkeys are too big to fit in most pots.

If you have a large pot. Add "ALL" the remaining bones, carcass, jellies,(meat juices) Fill the pot untill the carcass is completly submerged, 1/2 teaspoon salt. pinch or 2 of pepper. set the dial on your stove between simmer and medium, and let it slowly cook for about 3-4 hours covered. After 3-4 hours, pull all the bones out. and add 4-5 Large baker type potatoes, cubed, some carrots sliced(3) 2 cups of sliced celery, and a cup or so of turkey meat(I always have an abundance of white meat left so I use that!) Cover and simmer for another couple hourse covered, (Untill potatoes are done) and serve! Talk about awsome mmmmmmmm! and you can freeze what you dont use for another time! Enjoy!

I make dinosaur bones out of it for young anthropologists. : ) I boil the carcass until it's absolutely clean, soak it in a bleach/hot water solution until it's white, rinse, take it apart, bury it in a box of sand and provide make-up brushes with the kit for nursery school children to practice dinosaur digs.
