Would you want to commit me to a mental hospital? Would you dismiss me as crazy and five minutes later try to justify your christian religion to someone else?

I didn't really. Just wondering what the thought process is today compared to long ago when Moses or whoever went around saying that, and how people today would dismiss it even though they think that it happened once already.

Just like anything I'd take it for what it's worth....I might not believe your source but the message might be good none the less...

Sure I would believe you. It happened before why not again.

Note to yourself: Moses didn't run off and say to his wife. "I saw this burning bush and now I have to go to Egypt!"

I'm not saying don't tell anyone, but there is bound to be an element of skepticism in people, it's not personal but some people will not believe you. Of course, not many believed Mary when she said that she was still a virgin even though she was pregnant. That doesn't make them bad people, just human.

That would have happened before the New Covenant. Now with the Holy Spirit in us God can speak to us in a less spectacular way because we have the revelation of God through Jesus Christ. God can now speak to us directly or through angels, people, circumstances, His Word, dreams and visions without a burning bush experience.

If you come down the mountain with the tablets with the new commandments in God's writing, stop all wars, destroy false idols, and your hair turned gray while you were up on the mountain count me in, I am one of your followers take me to the promised land.

I'd say get that bush of yours checked by a doctor, and stop telling strangers about it burning.

kra_z_fly_chic and neil said it first, LOL! So funny, for an old joke.
