Does anyone know of another language besides Japanese that has a different conjugation for the suffering passive tone or is it a truly original Japanese linguistical concept. (which honestly there aren't too many)

I am unable to answer your question, knowing of no further examples, but it is interesting that the word passive comes from the Latin word for suffering -- patior means I suffer and the past perfect is passus est. Strange coincidence!
