normally I would say its you thats marrying the guy not your parents and make up your own mind. you will be the one living with him .. however in what you haave said i think your parents are more concerned he may not be right for you as he sounds very feminin and could be gay or at least bi. and they aren't sure you realize this and could lead to problems later when he realizes your not the onely one that can yank his chain.
