Has anyone had good luck finding rock-bottom prices for airfares on Priceline.com or on hotwire.com? What was your experience?

I've had some horrible experiences with priceline/hotwire... Mostly because you are basically stuck with whatever horrid flight/hotel room.. they give you. Plus the hotels/airlines dont really feel obligated to give you good customer service because as I was told once - "you aren't our customer you didnt pay us..." ...great. Its better to know before hand what you are getting. Go to a sight where you can read reviews and purchase knowing what you are getting. Any sight (like priceline) that doesnt let the customers rate the hotels/airlines, are hiding something. Plus if you get stuck in a with a bad experience, you are basically stuck because you paid sight unseen.

I agree, verify travelocity and expedia. be beneficial to double verify with the airline's internet site because of the fact sometimes you will discover a extra suitable deal once you purchase immediately with the aid of them.
