With it being Thanksgiving. What woould you say to your love on in Iraq?

I told my husband that I am so thankful for him. He is a wonderful man, and I love him with all of my heart. I told him to do a good job, and please come home safe. I told him about the kids and how big they are getting, and how we had a picnic today instead of the usuall thanksgiving feast because it is always his job to make the turkey, and I have no idea how now that he is gone. I told him the news in the neighborhood, and I told him about the new PX on base. I told him anything that would make him smile.

Yes my husband is in iraq for the second time. His father is very sick and cant be home to spend time with him. We have 2 children. Whom he cant share christmas with. Then you have people on her that cant say anything nice. Referring to the "Dont .... Etc." comment. Please for a moment put yourslef in the place of the soldiers over there giving up a year of their precious lives to give you the right to bash them. Yes it is true there are those unkind soldiers that abuse there power over there. But not many you hear more aobut them abuser then you do about the ones that do good. I know that my family and I send things to my husband on holidays for him to give to less fortunate Iraqi children. That we buy out of our own pockets. So before you open your uneducated trap think of how your words are going to effect others. Thanks.

A lot of people in Iraq I have love for, they are over there doing what was asked of them. I would tell them thank you for your service.

Yes I did 20 years in the navy - but that was when we werent sacrificed for nothing........by a clueless president

i have a few on a bridge in a city called an-nasiriyah, theyve been there since 2003. march 23 to be exact. never forget our fallen heroes. wether you support the war or not. RIP CPL.CHUCK!!!!! IKE.........

Dont rape the iraqis hun? Dont torture the Iraqis hun? Dont Loose your morals when people ask you to do bad things? Dont kill innocent people its not american?
