I guess at first glance they may look ridiculous to worry about, but I have to admite they disturb me. I hear about other Christians who have triumphant dreams, but I do not. Could it be due to my own lack of confidence in myself?

1. Dreamt Jesus left me to die in a concentration camp run by an evil man.
2. Dreamt I saw other Christians that couldn't tell I was a Christian b/c I didn't 'glow'.
3. Dreamt I was wasting away in a fire, and my mom and a non-Christian friend of mine had to coerce me into jumping out of it.

Dreams are dreams. These are messages from your unconscious mind, but remember that dreams are coded.

These might be a lack due to a lack of confidence, but more likely they have nothing to do with your faith in Divinity or you decision to become a Christian.

If they disturb you, think about this disruption. Did you expect to find instant bliss just because you decided to follow Christ? Many of those who claim to be born again are extremely good at hiding their true natures from themselves and others. They suppress and repress their normal thoughts and feelings. This does not make then holy, but many see this as a sign of blessing.

Jesus taught tolerance and love for one another. It sounds to me like you need to first understand that Divinity loves you just the way you are and that you need to learn to have some tolerance for yourself before you can learn to tolerate and love others.

I think you're feeling a little conflicted. Maybe you're afraid that if you try to be a good Christian, you just won't measure up. After all, some people make it sound like once you have Jesus Christ in your life, everything should just fall into place and live happily ever after.

It doesn't work that way, though. But Jesus Christ brings hope and temperance to aid the hard times.

You need some time to heal spiritually. Maybe you are coming to terms with your former ways and regret any decisions that were made in the past.

While you pursue a new spiritual path, don't feel you need to "leave behind" your loved ones just because they may not share your views. You can still be with them, and accept them as they are as long as they can accept you in the same way. Don't let anyone tell you differently. After all, the Bible says that love is the strongest of all.

I'm sure it's crossed your mind that this may be the "devil's work" and you are being tested or something like that. I don't think I'm buying that one. I think your statement about your lack of confidence was pretty right on the mark.

I'd beware of Christians, though, who talk more of fearing or fighting the devil than of loving and praising God. And those who insist that you abandon your friends and family in favour of the congregation.

I hope you can find peaceful dreams soon! Good luck!

When we are first saved, were babies all over again, a lot happens real fast and one of the first things that happens is satan makes another attempt, to steal our joy. He knows he has lost are soul but as long as we are on this side of eternity he is going to attempt to steal your joy and make you doubt your relationship with Jesus and even your salvation if he can. My advice would be to go ahead right now and decide your not going to let that happen. Remember we do not battle flesh and blood but prince of palates. Guard your thoughts do not let your mind wonder your enemy will take it to places it should not go. Also Jesus will never leave you are forsake you but that doesn't mean that life will not continue to be a battle. He takes us through the fire so He can refine us like Gold. You should really start to study the word (bible) join a bible study so that you understand what is really going on. You need to get together with some people who have studied the bible Pray before you read and ask God to help you. It is all going to be OK. Your a Blessed Child of God and nothing can separate you from His Love. You are also now a solider in the Lords army and you need to learn how use your sword (bible) It will lead you to a happier Life in Christ I promise. Be blessed and one last thing pray before you slept and ask for God's protection over your dreams.

Often times, God speaks to his people through dreams. Remember Joseph? Prophecy even tells us that in the end times God will speak to us more through dreams and visions. However your's don't seem to be of God directly. Yours seem to be the result of inner hurts that God is trying to work out of you. Remember that being a christian involves a lifetime of God working on you, working out the bugs, taking out the "garbage" and replacing it with His belongings. Your dreams seem to be reflecting on what God is doing in your heart.

HOWEVER,

There is another possible reason which I am obligated to point out. You say that you are a "new" Christian. What many people don't realize is that to become a true Christian means to place your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. It's a simple confession of faith made between you and God, typically called "the sinner's prayer". If you have asked Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins and to be your Lord and Savior, then you really are a new christian. But if you have not prayed such a prayer to Christ, then you really are not. Your question never really specified this and unfortunately many good church folk don't know this (nor want to).

If you never did ask Christ to be your Lord and Savior, then your dreams may be God prompting you to do so. I also had a dream of burning in Hell prior to converting from religious christian to born-again christian. If you are a born-again christain, then I would be more inclined to go with my first hunch about your dreams at the opening of this answer.

Hope this helps.

those are intense dreams of judgment, some would say they are self created. I think dreams have external origins more than subconscience.
i had a dream once where i descended from Heaven and I could "FEEL" the dirt as i cam closer to landing on earth.
i also had repeated dreams of being in concentration camps as well.
I woke up once and saw my roommate standing Naked at the foot of my bed with a washcloth in his hands and he saw that i woke up and covered his genitals. When I told church authorities it came back to me that He said I was ONLY dreaming.
the same kind of thing happened several years later when i fell asleep with a kitten on my chest. While i was sleeping I "dreamed" that the kitten was licking my nose. When i woke up i looked at the clock Only Ten Minutes had passed by. When i told this on a talk radio show, the Guest Host said I had "indeed" woken up and fallen asleep. It makes me wonder about all THOSE dreams I had where i saw abominations at work. Or even the time i woke up and saw someone Injecting me with a needle.

I tell everyone that accepts Christ through the ministry HE has given me. Satan hates you now more then ever before, and he will try to convince you that you are not really saved, that you did not mean it.
Just tell that flea Satan to get behind you, You have been bought with the BLOOD OF THE LAMB.
Find somebody you trust that you can call at any time. And ask them for help, and support.
feel free to email me if you need anything further.

i'm afraid you have had the misfortune of working right into a member of one of the severe sects, and made the ridiculously user-friendly and horrifically erroneous false impression that we are all like them. maximum Christians have no situation in any respect with hospitals. Or physicists. Whoever advised you to bypass to hell is heavily defective. notice that i did not insult their intelligence. You pronounced to the final option you once you're incorrect. right here you bypass: Christianity isn't "in basic terms a faith and an risky faith at that", faith isn't crap, it somewhat is partly a rant, and "tyrant and evil tension" and "self righteous bigots" are in basic terms undeniable rude. notice that i did not insult YOU the two.

It appears you are frustrated about something. Good Christian friends and good Bible Study will ground your beliefs in the faith.

Let Not your heart be troubled, You believe in God, believe also in Me." Jesus

New Christians are targets of satan. He lost your soul so now all he can do is cause you to doubt your salvation. Cause you to ruin your testimony and backslide. Thats why there are so many who call Christians hypocrits and use your imperfections as their basis for not believeing.
