This is a question I have often asked of my believing friends, and they always cite free will. Want I ask then is: if God is perfect, then he could only create perfection, so even with free will, how could anyone make a wromg choice? This makes the person imperfect, which would make God imperfect, since he created someone imperfect.
I also wonder why an all- powerful God needs so much help. He had to send angels to see if there was a righteous man in Sodom or Gomorrah, Noah had to build the ark and gather the animals, the Hebrews had to fight his Old Testament wars. Why could he not do these things himself? A rather weak omnipotency, if you ask me.

If God had created a perfect world He will have no workTher wont be any need for Him to exist. All his creations will then be Gods or duplicates of Himself!
wouldn't that be so boring? It is all about energy balance!
Good cannot exist without bad, meither a north pole without a south.Apositive without a negative polarity.
To understand this life one needs to explore understand accept
or sacrifice a lot of concepts.Explore with an open mind and heart. Is ther life after death? Why each of us are different?
is God to blame for this?
Does he or does he not do anything at all? What is cause and effect.Sure no one can expect to go scotfree having done anaction! What is Karma.
Dig at all thisI and I am sure you will feel better.Good luck!
No.This world is not bad at all!As we sow we reap!Who to blame?

Cancer, AIDS, murder, hunger, homelessness...
These problems you listed are only related to humans - if the humans were removed from the Earth, I guess it would return to a perfect place - right?
Humans also have good qualities. Eventually we will reduce this list, I am sure.

My theory on the subject is that since he has eternal life, and would know what would happen if we did not have free will that he got bored. So he gave us free will and now is sitting back until judgment day watching us, as a sort of entertainment. Every once and a while he throws in something interesting to spice it up.
Floods, AIDS, Cancer.
I know this view may seem harsh but think about it, he is out there forever and ever, and will know everything that could possibly happen so after a while he says I gotta do something, so he makes us, and we keep him happy.
Don't vote against this if you just don't agree. It is just my humble opinion.

mmm very importent question really but Wht you think is imperfect is the perfectness itself.
first if you didnt have evil you wouldnt know wht is good (it will be meanless) so God created every thing in the world and its evil side to let you feel the bless he gave you and thank him.
also God made the evil to punish with it anybody... for example if a village of sin people was nt thanking God for anything he gave them so God may cut all sources of water from them so as to let them in hunger and show them the pain he have forgave them from it from the begining and they didnt thank him for it.
if you didnt understnd contact me

I guess when god created earth, she left it in our hands. It is our fault that there is war, murder, famine. Cancer isn't a human fault though. AIDS could have been isolated incident if people would just wear condoms or not have sex. God lets people make there own decisions.
Besides this is life, life is hard. People have to die. Thats how god intended. Not all of this world is bad though.
This is just my opinion. I'm not christian, jewish, catholic, etc. I believe in god and evolution.

Man himself is responsible for all his misery God gave every one free will and through this free will that man has destroyed the world God is perfect and He watches over what goes on here
