Okay, this is probably silly of me to ask......but:
Is always laughing and smiling and goofing off with each other flirting??
Because me and my guy friends at work are always joking around and teasing each other and my boss always tells us to quit flirting. I try to tell him that we are just having a good time (while working of course ;) ) but..he is like yahhh suuuuuuuree. lol, sooo.....is it considered flirting??

Excuse me?? When did I ever say perverse comments were being thrown about?? All I said was that we were laughing and joking and having a good time. I highly doubt that makes me a slut or that this behavior is degrading to women. FYI: I am a virgin and plan on saving myself for marriage. Me joking around with a guy does not make me trashy. I take offense to your comment and I suggest that you don't assume before you know all of the facts. Thank you.
P.S. Thanks for all of the other answers! :)

You may see it as just joking around, but I guarantee that one or more of those guys in that crowd is trying his best to flirt with you.

Flirting is defined in so many different ways by so many different people. I always laugh and goof off with my guy friends too but that doesn't have to mean that we're flirting. We could be flirting, if for example, in a joke the guy says something like "wow you look hotttt, like as hot as that candy jar over there" (ok that's a bit corny lol, but you get what I mean?) It could be flirting if the guy was giving you hints like, eye contact, saying things about how good you look, jokingly complementing you, touching you subtly, etc. Sure, joking around can definitely lead to flirting but it totally depends on the type of joke that is being said. Smiling is very subtle flirting as well. There is also body language that can signal flirting. Maybe your boss likes you and thinks the guys are flirting with you lol! You never know.....
But as I did say above, joking could definitely be a type of flirting but you just have to know if it is or not. Not on what your boss says to you.

It depepnds on how you guys are "goofing off".If you like these guys then it is defently flirting. But, if you dont like them it's way different. Some people just dont know.(like your boss)

Of course it's flirting..what else should you call it?
But you can minimize it by bringing your flirting out of the office.

Its being dirty minded and a slutty girl, demeaning to womena nsd degrading, one thing can lead to another, people might get wrong signals and some thing big and dangerous can happen, so therefore have some self-respect and dignity.

Not always.
If they lean in to each other, then you should watch them more closely.
