As you read! in Genesis, and commonly Christian belief that human fall into sin is by the fruit! Recently I have a view that it's not by the fruit BUT by the desire of eve Which want to be GOD! Give me your best opinion! It's by the fruit of the tree or by the desire!

I think it has domething to do with disobedience, in relying on self as the truth not God.

He is supposed to be omnipotent etc...
Adam or Eve didn't have the word "choice" in their vocab back then, i wonder then, how did Eve want to be God?Wasn't God aware of wot was going on in Eve's head??After all, isn't He God??
N WHY on earth(or Eden) did God keep that goddam tree over there and then tell them not to eat from it??!!Even if he did that, y put the serpent over there??He just needed better security in the garden and all would be fine on this planet now!! :-)

It is both. Eve wanted to be God so she ate it. The fruit tree's snake also tempted her about the 'JUICY' fruit.

The sin was disobeying God. He gave them everything and only asked them not to eat of the tree of knowlege of good and evil.
