I contend we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.

I believe there are many journeys possible to one destination. It is human to recommend your path as the best, which then over time becomes "the only path". It is our human desire to be right that drives us to hate those who have taken a different path. We begin to fear "if their path is right, perhaps mine is wrong". Then we hate those that have brought us doubt and robbed us of our security. Soon a system arises that protects the security at all costs. Hate those that would cause you doubt. Kill them. The pity is that this is the HUMAN condition, not an enlightened position at all. In the hate, and judgement we lose the sight of the true enlightenment and so are lost. The true path to peace and unity does not fear other's different paths. It embraces their journey as being no less valid than one's own journey. In looking for the similarities one may well see the true face of God. In focusing on our differences one will surely stir hell.

Absolutely not. Peace only comes as we yield our lives to God through Jesus Christ. Unity is a rotten goal if it means compromising our religious beliefs, anyway. Christians must not abandon their faith in a vain attempt to appease the world. That does not mean being rude, crude, or violent. It means standing up for Jesus in love despite everybody else asking you to bow down to their ecumenical foolishness.

Thee will be no peace as long as one religion commands its followers to make their religion the one religion of the world. By force and intimidation if needed.Death to those who will not convert.

1 Corinthians 1:10-13 (TMB/NAV)
10Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11For it hath been reported unto me about you, my brethren, by those who are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12Now this I say, when every one of you saith, "I am of Paul," and "I of Apollos," and "I of Cephas," and "I of Christ": 13Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
