Step 1: Ascertain the right weight for your height and body mass. A good dietitian or a GP can help on this.
Step 2: Once you have the target weight range, plan a step by step reduction. Losing 20+ kg in a short time is both difficult and could also lead to other complications.
Combination of Diet, and exercise would be useful.
Make a detailed plan of the diet and the exercise regimen.
Step 3: Create a visual image of the "reduced" you, and keep reinforcing this image. Think of all possible benefits of weight reduction and use them for this reinforcement. This is essential to keep yourself motivated.
Step 4: Implementing your plan without fail. Appoint a close friend or spouse as a conscience keeper. Let him/her keep track of your progress.
Finally good luck!

* Did you know that simply changing the temperature of the water you drink can speed up your metabolism and burn more calories? Drink hot water!
* Did you know that foods like bran cereal are more dense and will make you more full because your body cannot digest fiber?
* Did you know that certain foods like rice work very well with liquids to expand in your stomach making you more satisfied?
* Did you know that if you cut 3 tablespoons of butter per day from your diet you could drop 1 pound every 12 days just for not eating butter? Let's hope you don't actually eat 3 tablespoons of butter every day though!!!!
More Weight Loss Tips
Fat Loss versus Muscle Loss
* To lose body fat you must eat fewer calories than your body burns off, so EAT LESS -- but you must NOT starve yourself, otherwise you will lose more muscle than fat!
* Start eating 5-6 meals per day (space them out to about one every 3 hours). You are eating more often, but not necessarily more.
* Increase your protein intake. Without protein your body cannot build new muscle. Protein also helps to increase your metabolism - which burns calories.
* Increase you water intake. A good formula for this is to multiply your bodyweight by .66 to get the required number of ounces per day.

i think you should make small goals.... first decide that you want to reduce 5 kg and then go in steps....
swimming is a very good exercise but gym is necessary to built up a good figure...
walking, cycling and skipping reduces calories....
and yes all the above suggestions wont work if your diet is not good
your diet should be very simple.. it should not contain spices.... spices increase toxicity in you...
and yes , Please DON'T say no to oil..... but avoid its over usage...
you can always ask me if you need help..

Exercise (a brisk walk 20 min. everyday does WONDERS) and watch what you eat. You don't have to watch so much as what you eat (of course limit your junk food intake and soda), but the quantity. Be careful of portion size too...people tend to overdo it and then eat too many calories. Good Luck!
