i have state adult waiver, michigan. I need a compssionate doc.?

I was treated bad on the phone by the first office,( i said no), and i was so nervouse at the 2nd surgeon that i drink before going. I was not intoxicated, but the doc smelled it, ( i was not intoxicated, but when the doc asked, i had to lie cause of the person i was with), but now i have no surgeon. My doctor is mad at me, cause i refusused the first surgon, and now this happened. I am in pain, and want it to stop. Do I have to have a doc's referral? Gee, all i know is they all believe i have to get this out, but do i have to do and go where my doc. says? it makes me feel trapped. It is a bad back problem. I had to quit work and school and can not even get out of bed unless i take these oxy's i dont like. What do I do? I had surgory in 93, and it was bad when i woke up. They put me on a morphine drip that helped. I asked this doc, and they said no way? How can they do that? I am scared to death of that pain again. And can't i choose who I am comfortable with? Cause they treat me not

you definitely need referrals where you go for chronic back pain. Stick to your primary doctor, do not drink when you go see a doctor and see the surgeons that are recommended, good luck
