You really don't tip movers. They charge by the hour and usually can control the tempo of the move to make plenty of money.

Don't tip them unless they do something they aren't getting paid to do, like if they plug in your appliances, or set up your beds. Most movers just drop and run.

I paid a moving company over $500 twenty years ago to move me 6 blocks. I didn't see a need to tip.

10% of the job given to the driver to be split up amonst the crew is standard in the industry especially if they show extra care to not damage anything.
