I am a really nice, smart, attractive girl, but every guy I have ever dated is crazy about me, mentioning things like marriage and a future, and then after awhile they tell me that they don't want to be "official." But then when I try to be just friends, they act jealous and even try getting back with me...but of course not commit. Usually they say I'm too good for them or something like that (which sounds like crap to me). Why do they act like this if they say I am such a catch and then can't leave me alone?

People treat you the way you allow them to. Sounds like you're not giving them incentive and giving them you by listening to promises without proof. Don't ever convince someone to make a commitment to you. Someone has to decide that for themselves. Of course they come back you're a great girl but you allow them to come back and play games with you. Let them all go and start over. The guy who really wants you will give you everything you need without the drama, games and mind trips. He'll rise up to meet your expectations immediately because he wants to be worthy of you. If they truly thought you were too good they wouldn't take the chance of losing you. They would make sure you never thought a second about moving on or seeking another relationship rather than you sitting alone being this good person and compromising your happiness.

I am sure that you are gorgeous, more attractive that you are letting on for sure! You seem like you have a great personality... maybe we should go out?

The men want to have you exclusively without a commitment and find you beautiful. Beautiful women drive men crazy. Older men are ready for commitment and hopefully more mature.

Im not really good with relationships, so im going to take a stab at it. I think its becouse the guys you are dating don't know what they truly want. They want to date a bunch of woman to see who is their type. Some of them may be hyper or immature and don't want to settle down. Basicly they don't want a commitment becouse they would be time down.

Guys treat you like crap, because you like the bad guys. If a real nice guy treated you real good, you probably won't like em. You definately wounldn't give him any play because you know you aren't really attracted to him. You are attracted to guys who like treating you bad...You have a bad boy complex.

well from a guys point of view, if you are all that you say then it is them. a real man would realize what he had and go thru with the things that he had perviously said. obviously you are to good for the slackers you've been dateing. only thing i can suggest is to try to find a real man that can take you for who you are and cherish you as you should be.

Sounds like you are dating boys. If you are ready to date a man, you should look for a man next time.
