I intend to visit this Country in end of dec and beg of jan. What specific benefit , I will get in your opinion

You will see snow (possibly) and that's lovely! You'll also see the third round of the FA Cup and that's romantic. In fact there is nothing more romantic than the third round of the FA Cup.

You'll get to visit a new place and meet new people. Everything depends on what part of the country you're visiting. There will be something interesting to do where ever you go.
If you are from the EU there is a reciprocal agreement on health-care. Otherwise you must get medical insurance as you won't meet the residency qualifications for health care.
Trixi thought you might be claiming financial benefit from Social Security but she's wrong, visitors have no entitlement.

Come with an open mind & wrap up warm. You will meet very friendly people. A lovely country steeped in history. Plenty of pubs !

Didn't say where you are from but it will be cold. Whitby, coastal town James Cook sailed from there.York, old roman town, Minster (cathedral), city walls to walk round. Have fun.
