Don't all over bleach it, unless after that you're going to tone it, because your hair will go pink. If you're doing this from home, yes, use Frost n' Glow as a first step.
About 2 weeks after you highlight, THEN do an all over colour, I suggest L'Oreal Feria in the lightest shade of blonde, or Les Blondissmes (which I think is Superior Preference, but just look for Les Blondissmes.)
You may still have pinky undertones, but after the highlights and the colour- it will appear a nice strawberry blonde!

You really should see a professional. Even if you bleach the hair, you will still have that reddish undertone. Box dyes generally give off that reddish tone, plus the money that you will keep on spending on the box dye will cost almost as much as a professional trying to fix it.

As far as I know you should be able to bleach it as it is still a light colour which wouln't normally affect your hair I should know I've dyed my hair plenty of times as i'm a red head and my colour is dead hard to get rid of

No, it has to be stripped and have a filler put in it
Go to a hairdresser if you want to keep your hair. Over processing hair can lead to baldness

that blonde color is bleach. most box colors show you a color like a "golden blonde" and you think you are going to get that color... but most of the time you dont. so you will probably have to get it bleached.... mildy.... so get the color out of you hair. if you go to a salon talk to them about a "color cleanse"

You need to get it pre-lightened first. I'd recommend doing it professionally, as doing it yourself could really mess up your hair.
They will pre-lighten it and then put a toner on it to get it looking as natural as possible
