I'm no longer a teen but I would have asked my parents why they resented my for being sick. I have a chronic condition...they suported me at first but after I didn't get better on their timetable I became a nuisance and they began to resent me. I've always wanted to have the guts to ask them how they could do that when I was only a child. Especially my mother...she had breast cancer and I would've though that would make it easier for her to understand but apparently not.
