If you are in the US...there is probably a county mental health clinic/department in your area. They work on a sliding scale, based on income. It's worth checking into, it's a good starting point. There are programs that can help you get the medication you need, but first things first. You should be evaluated by a mental health professional. Depression is a very serious illness, but it is treatable. Not getting you the help you need and are asking for borders on medical neglect.

I don't know if your are a female or a male, but I'd like to tell you a little secret that might give your mother the incentive to take you to a doctor for a full check-up. There has been a growing trend of young women having late teenage onset of thyroid problems. One of the symptoms is depression, and sometimes people are mistakenly put into the whole mental health system because the psychologist can only recognize what they know, which is depression, but it may be onset by other contributing physical factors. I know this because I suffered from depression (and other phobias...) for 20 years--and now with the correction of my hormone balance, I am a happy and well adjusted, full functioning participant in my community (I used to be a recluse...)
A recap: See the doctor, and tell h/er all of your symptoms (write them down beforehand...) Maybe you can get a full blood panel/evaluation and a full physical...and it always helps to chat with a counselor once and a while to eliminate the stress--it's not so easy being a teen in this day. Take care and all the best to you and your family.

I wish I could help and say more real information good luck I wish you well. and the very best.OW.If you go to the hospital emergency room.and say your suicidal they have to help you, they will put you in a place for a while, not but about a week if you say your not suicidal any more. and give you medicine. and I am sure then you would get medicine.to take on a continuous basis.

I surely have been affected by positioned up partum melancholy for the previous 12 months as quickly as I gave delivery to a toddler boy. i could no longer supply up thinking approximately how my husband loves him extra effective than me and how issues could desire to be extra useful if he wasn't born in any respect. consequently, I stayed remote from him because of the fact I knew that i might do something i'll be apologetic approximately for something of my existence. purely approximately without delay I went to a therapist and convince them that i choose help. between different issues, i've got tried organic supplementations and different e book to handle melancholy yet no longer something works like the melancholy loose approach. So now i'm proud to assert i'm between the happiest mom in the worldwide. My husband loves us the two very plenty and that i thank the Lord for the blessing he gave us. melancholy loose approach?

If you are in college or university, some student unions/student associations have health plans. Ask one of their reps if that applies to you. If you have a good doctor, ask them. They may be aware of drug plans in your area for people who have low incomes. Good luck to you!
