Hey Now...

I tried to make Sloppy Joes, heres the recipe:

1 lb Ground beef
1/2 c Chopped onion
1 c Ketchup
1 tb White vinegar
1 tb Lemon juice
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 t Dijon mustard
1 t Paprika
1 tb Dark brown sugar
4 Buns

Brown meat and onions until no longer pink. Be sure to
break up the meat. (I add garlic, too. One clove.)
Combine all of the liquids and add to pan. Cook,
uncovered, for about thirty minutes on low heat. It
should be thick. Serve on the buns. Enjoy!

Heres another...

3 pounds ground beef chuck
1 cup chopped onions, about 2 medium onions
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups ketchup
2 1/2 cups water
8 split and toasted sandwich rolls

PREPARATION:
Cook ground beef with onion, salt and pepper until beef is no longer red, stirring to break up. Sprinkle flour over beef; stir to blend thoroughly. Add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and water. Simmer, stirring often, for 15 to 25 minutes, or until thickened.

But....
Honestly. Hunt's Manwich Sauce...
makes a canned "sauce" you add to the chop meat that
is easier and tastes better!!!

Depends on how much trouble you want to go to.
You start with ground beef (or Turkey) or both mixed together.
Brown the meat and drain add some chopped onion, garlic, tomato paste a touch of brown sugar or molasses.
Mix it all together and let simmer for 15-20 min.
Or you can just go to the store and buy some Manwich

Brown your hamburger, place into it your choice of barbecue sauce and heat.
Children love it on a hot dog bun with cheese.
