It's written in John 3:16, Because GOD love us! thus He allowed his only begotten son to died for us.... the question is WHY? before we can make any conclusion that he's a bad Father! so there's some basic assumptions :
1. GOD is the only truth, so when we talk about love then GOD is the truth LOVE and we talk about Justice then GOD is the truth JUSTICE...
2. GOD is unlimited and limited... HE's unlimited on Power, Knowledge, Wisdom... etc... but HE's limited... !!! But how can? Yes He can, but the only one that limit GOD is GOD himself... His POWER, KNOWLEDGE and WISDOM can't be opposite by His LOVE and JUSTICE
Because GOD love the world, GOD now in dilemma... He save the world but he fail to show Justice (because somebody has to be punished because of the Human sin), Jesus Christ is in FATHER, thus as FATHER love the world so JESUS is.... and to fullfill FATHER Love, JESUS accept to die (and raise) to fullfill the PERFECT Sacrifice of HIS flock.... THUS FATHER is not a bad FATHER because SON want to die for Us, SON want to make father happy, Although it's HARD for FATHER but it doesn't opposite with GOD nature which is LOVE to the World and LOVE between two personality of GOD, Father and Son....

If He allows His Son to appear like a powerful lion, then all mankind will bow down like paralyzed rabbits. And what is the use of paralysed rabbits when He already created so many beautiful and active rabbits?
For the sake of training man to become the most noble being among all creatures, He allows mankind to kill His Son and then realize the high lessons of the greatest love and knowledge in His Son as proved in the Christian civilization.
Please use your rational sense.

That's not the worst of it. I can find no bible passage where god married Mary. Did he even have legal responsibility to Jesus. Was Jesus a bastard? Would his parentage hold in a court of law today? It's a valid question. Bastards weren't well thought of in those days. I don't think they were allowed in the temples, even to the tenth generation. I'm very confused. I want to believe Mary of course, but like you say, wouldn't it have been better to set the sky on fire? It seems that Jesus died the death of a bastard. I think it's very cruel, regardless of the parentage.

Same question goes for all of us. We are all God's children, and why is there people suffering in the world? Jesus is not the only one who suffers. Because we are all are one in Christ, heirs together.
So why do we all suffer (varying ranges of suffering of course, but non-the-less, we all suffer to some degree)
Because we choose to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and try to do it ourselves. Plus, it must be how the spirit grows or something like that. In the future, maybe some kind of evolution of man to be more godlike and no more suffering. The spirit crosses (the cross or TREE we are stuck to) through the flesh, and is better somehow for it in the end.
=======================
Jer.31
[29] In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
[30] But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
We all bear the cross not just some single man named Jesus.
Luke.9
[23] And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
I say it as "take off his cross".... and live again a new life

It occurred first while Israel then Judah abandoned God, falling into Babylonian captivity. God restored them later under king Darius while the Jews began returning to God. That fix led to 70 advert as Jesus prophesied it would, the Jews as quickly as returned dispersed till 1948 advert. A remnant of Israel did have faith on Jesus on the dinner social gathering of Pentecost after the crucifixion, Jews making up the Church congregation for the 1st seven years till now Gentiles have been admitted to this present day. there is often been a remnant of Jews no longer abandoning God. As secular as present day-day miraculously restored Israel has grow to be, yet another remnant would be saved in the time of the tribulation under the reign of AntiChrist.

Yes He did have to allow it. It is ONLY by the shedding of blood that sins can be forgiven. You just aren't understanding the reason why it had to be done. Jesus could have turned it down but He willingly died. He knew what His purpose was from the moment He was born. God didn't make Him do it.

Jesus did it to save the world.
John 17:3,5,24; Col.1:15-17; Rev.3:14; Jesus only one qualified to save the world.
Heb.2:9,14,16; 9:14-16 He gave his word on it, John 3:16 and God allowed it.
Matt.26:53 Jesus could have had 12 legions of angels or 72,000 angels instead of die if he had wanted it.

he did raise him from the dead. Jesus was the word of God made into flesh and therefore was a part of God that was sent to earth to show us the way. also he was sent to make atonment for our sin. prior to this animals had to be sacrificed for our screw ups.
since Jesus being from God as the word begoton means, we were killing a part of him. but it was brought back to life.

Isaiah 53:4-6
"Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."
