A theory is not necessarily false. A theory is a guess. A theory is something that you cannot prove. It is something that is suggested to be possible. Gravity is not a theory. Evolution is a theory. The theory of evolution is very convenient for people who pretend not to believe in God.

Theory is a concept. First you come up with a theory then you try to prove it. It can be true or false. It is not fact. God is a theory, Evolution is a theory the 2nd one makes more sense to me. Religion presents God as fact. Non believers shouldn't make the same mistake with evolution.

first of all there is no such thing as the theory of gravity. its the law of gravity. gravity is an undeniable fact. a theory leaves a bit of room for error. a theory isnt 100% truth. there is a possibility that it could be wrong. hence the theory of evolution and the big bang theory. no one knows for sure how these things occur. gravity, the laws of motion, and the laws of thermodynamics are 100% undeniable truth or fact

im not sure why people think they are opposites-they aren't a theory is formulated on the way to proving a fact.a fact is something that actually works and can be duplicted in a lab setting. gravity is not a theory its a fact.you can prove gravity exists(its called physics)evolution has never and never will be proved as fact. if you can prove, with hard solid facts that i evolved from a primate i'll re think evolution.

Because Darwin theory of evolution just does not work. And there is a ton of scientific against his theory. Also how man came about in Darwin theory just does not fit because of how several species of man came into being. And all of those species thru mating created man as we know him to be to day And the many faces of man proves that beyond any reasonable doubt.......... I am not one of those believers that believe that mankind wiped other species of man. What I do believe is that man stole woman from other tribes and mated and so forth and cross breeding and incest created what and who man is now..........

this was recently explained to me. Apparently in society as a general thought, (including myself) the term theory was view as a fact not pr oven as of yet. Merely a proposed idea still in the making. so the word itself was not viewed in the same matter

I would argue that a theory becomes fact when proven and accepted on a very widespread basis.

I think everyone just calls it "gravity" now because its fact, no longer theory.

Thats just me

The theory of gravitaion was only a "theory" until it was proven. Then it became a fact. The theory of evolution has not been proven as fact. So therefore it is still a 'theory" and open for debate.

It's just like 1984. NewSpeak was a language designed to extinguish thought was employed to dumb down the masses. Creationists take the same approach. They repeatedly fling rhetoric that dumbs down their followers who sheepishly repeat it.

Because many people who dispute Darwinian Evolution only know what they see on an online google search, which is far from reliable.
