Hmm ... I am on Zoloft also. But, I never had that problem. Have you maybe been evaluated for ADHD?

It could possibly just be that the medication hasn't kicked in yet. It takes a while for the medication to kick in.

Good luck! :-]

It could be, if the symptoms started just sround the time you started the medication. I was put on Zoloft a few years ago and it made me have like a nervous, jittery feeling. Almost like coffee or those weight loss pills. So I'm taking Lexapro now which is the same thing just a different maker. But I dont know, My boyfriend takes Zoloft and he is doing great on it, maybe you are just stressed about something that you arent fully aware of or sometimes I know if I start a new medication I'll start thinking about it hard enough and start feeling like I'm having side effects when I'm really just worrying myself, ya know? I know this is the typical answer that you probably dont really want but your Dr is probably the only one who can give you the best answer.

ya its from the zoloft... but you should stick with it because the vast majority of the time most of these side effects go away.

beleive it or not, the actual short term effect of these drugs is not what helps.. thats why they can take a month or so to work... it is actually kinda the tolerance to the drug that is what works..

so my suggestion is to wait it out... if it gets unbearable, you can ask to start on a lower dose first and work your way up.

my fiance has been on zoloft for three years he says to change the dosage or change medication. I have been on Paxil it made me sleep 36 hours so i stopped then put on Lexapro had sexual side effects, then put on wellbutrin. Sometimes it takes awhile to get the meds right . I wish you all the luck in the world.

yeah I would give it time at first it takes a few days for the side affects to go away but I was on zoloft and it really f*cked me up I would suggest you ask your doctor about lexapro it helps with depression and anixety if you have that as well, but no matter which one you try the first few days you will be knda out of it

It does sound like you are having side effects from the Zoloft. Call your doc in the morning and let him know about this and see what they suggest.

Improvement with Zoloft may not be seen for several days to a few weeks. You should expect to keep taking it for at least several months.

Zoloft may make your mouth dry. For temporary relief suck a hard candy, chew gum, or melt bits of ice in your mouth.

Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Zoloft.

More common side effects may include:
Abdominal pain, agitation, anxiety, constipation, decreased sex drive, diarrhea or loose stools, difficulty with ejaculation, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, gas, headache, decreased appetite, increased sweating, indigestion, insomnia, nausea, nervousness, pain, rash, sleepiness, sore throat, tingling or pins and needles, tremor, vision problems, vomiting

yes it is.....it reacts with everyone differently...in my case I was dog tired and fell asleep everywhere! However, if it hasn't stopped in another couple of days go back to your GP and tell him/her whats happening. Sometimes you need to try a few different antidepressants before you find the right one
